This novel is important (and I'm not just saying that because I'm friends with the author!). It's the story of a young woman dealing with abortion, her religious experiences, and growing up. Red is certainly a story for our current reality. A modern retelling of The Scarlet Letter, this novel is a story we can all relate to.
This book is an amazing gift for both young adult and adult readers.

Overseasoned and Matriarch (based in RI!) has a ton of punny, tongue in cheek feminist tea towels (and lots of other really great items). I am particularly drawn to this one that says "I Scream for Reproductive Justice," but "Smash the Garlic and the Patriarchy" is also really amazing.
